Here’s a message for Mike Yamamoto. Before you wrote this, it might have been a good idea to do justa touch of research. if you had, you would have learned that this phone is far from a novel idea. In fact, why should we be thrilled about a concept cellphone when we can use lots of different regular cellphones, and have been able to do so for at least 4 years, with the aid of a screen-reader like Talks or Mobilespeak? If we really wanted a special phone just for us, there’s already a concept phone for us called the Owasys 22C. Nope, this isn’t new at all.
On top of that, the description of this phone makes it sound like we get some pretty limited access. So it speaks the buttons and their functions. And what happens after we’ve pushed a button other than the keys to dial a number? Does it speak the changing screen content? Most of us can already tell what number we’re pressing by the tone it sounds. If this phone only reads out the digits, it’s pretty limited.
Yeesh. I swear he didn’t do his research because he assumed he knew all there is to know. Please, do your homework. Not doing research just shows how little the story matters to you.
