If you’ve ever wondered to yourself gee, has anybody ever tried to take a bite out of a police car during an arrest, wonder no more. Thanks to 47-year-old Scott Russell of Fairfax, Vermont, we know that the answer is definitely yes.
Police said they were responding to 911 hang-up call from Russell’s home and when they arrived Russell was outside, apparently intoxicated. Police said they saw smoke and found that a fire had been put out inside Russell’s home.
Russell became combative with police as officers attempted to place him into protective custody, police said. Russell also ground his teeth into the hood of a state police cruiser, causing damage to the hood.
He has been charged with assaulting a police officer and disorderly conduct. Whether or not he left a tip for the meal was not reported.
