I’m trying to follow this chain of logic. On the day of Obama’s inauguration, Krispy Kreme is giving a free doughnut of the customer’s choice to each customer. They say it’s to celebrate the people’s freedom to choose their new president. But some anti-abortion nutcakes have decided that no, no, any reference to freedom of choice is synonymous with pro-choice, so these doughnuts are pro-abortion doughnuts! Not only that, but they’re trying to say that Krispy Kreme orchestrated this doughnut thing to almost coincide with the anniversary of the supreme court’s decision to decriminalize abortion. Oh, and they’re trying to say that the doughnuts have more to do with Obama’s proposed Free Choice Act than general freedom of choice.
Ok there guys, first, stop putting words into other people’s mouths. All of this stuff about the Free choice Act and anniversaries of supreme court decisions is a stretch at best. I don’t think many people remember the exact date when that decision happened. And, if free choice is synonymous with abortion and thus is bad, I hope you all have overlords who tell you what to do, who your friends are, what to wear, where to live and work, when to sleep, when to eat, when to ppoop…you get the idea.
Must everything be turned into an abortion debate? Can’t people have a damn doughnut in peace?
