It looks like some Irish police are quite embarrassed. They had charged what looked like one particularly bad Polish driver with fifty traffic offenses. This person had the name “Prawo Jazdy.” Someone wondered why this Jazdy was on the move so much, having several addresses all over Ireland. Then a smart member of the force figured out what happened. Prawo Jazdy is Polish for driving license. Oops.
You’d think they would know what licenses in neighbouring countries looked like. I mean, this is Europe. You can get from one country to the other in no time flat. Well I guess they’ll know what a Polish license looks like now, and someone will have a lot of fixing to do in police databases.
