Here comes another ridiculous lawsuit.
The story goes that Dominica Juliano walked into a convenience store, and the clerk thought she looked grumpy. So he flashed the price scanner near her face and told her to smile. Now she’s suing, claiming that the light burned her light-sensitive skin, and she has since developed PTSD and Tourette’s syndrome.
Are you joking? I have a really hard time believing this. If a LED light from a bar-code scanner can burn her face, then she needs to be kept in a bubble. And…PTSD and Tourette’s syndrome? For real? I’d be willing to bet she had one of those, maybe both, before the incident, and now the family’s looking for a quick buck.
I hope the suit gets dismissed.
