Amanda (Norgaard) McBride, Joseph Phillips and their newborn son are one lucky trio. Why? Well, Amanda gave birth while driving! Yup. Apparently, she felt contractions, so she drove to pick up the baby’s dad. The thing is that he couldn’t drive the car because he has seizures. Um, at that point, shouldn’t you just take a cab? But she didn’t elect to do that. She was able to drive until her water broke, and then he had to steer from the passenger’s seat. He miraculously got her into the hospital parking lot and then ran inside to get help. She was just lucky the baby arrived without any difficulty, and they didn’t have an accident.
