The story of a bus driver leaning out of a moving school bus to vomit and then falling out of said bus is hilarious, but I can’t decide if I want to believe it or not. I want to believe it happened because I would have loved to have seen the driver fall out of the bus. I wouldn’t have wanted to see the bus full of kids then crash into a ditch, but the idea of a school bus driver leaning out of the bus to hurl is a funny one.
But on the other hand, I don’t want to believe that it happened because the idea of someone who is responsible for the care of kids doing that is a frightening one. If I was a kid on that bus, or a parent of one of them, I don’t think I would feel too safe anymore.
I also have trouble believing the story because Akilah Giddings, the woman filing the suit claiming this happened, won’t say how her child was injured in the crash. You only get that there was an injury, but it remains unspecified. Hmmm. I’m a little suspicious.
