If you’ve stolen a car, do you think it’s a good idea to drive around with your arm out the window with music pounding? Preston Renninger did, now he’s in jail.
I guess it was partly bad timing. Police were taking a report of a stolen car from Sergio Vial. As they were putting the info out to other cops, one of them just happened to see that car driving by, music pounding, dude’s arm out the window. They pulled it over, Vial came and identified his car, and said he didn’t know the dude driving it. The dude went to jail.
At least he made it easier for Sergio Vial to get his car back.
