At least Travis Pittman has a far more forgiving fiance than the guy who lost the ring intended for his fiance in a helium balloon. But still, I feel for the dude.
He had a wonderful romantic idea. He would bring his girlfriend to a pier and propose, saying he didn’t have a ring. If she said yes, he would slip a surprise ring on her finger. Fortunately for him, she did say yes, but unfortunately for him, when he went to put it on her finger, it slipped and fell into the Puget Sound. Oh god that would so suck.
A scuba diver has offered to look for it using an underwater metal detector, but he still has to get there to look. I hope he finds it, because the poor guy hadn’t managed to insure the ring.
