If you’re one to believe in “the lord works in mysterious ways” type stuff, the story of a statue in a church falling on someone trying to steal a donation box is a far better example than whatever P.E.I. Minister of Transportation Ron MacKinley was on about.
A man tried to steal a donation box from a church in Munich, but was foiled when a statue of Saint Antonius which was standing over the box came loose and fell on him, giving him a nice bleeding head. He ran off without any money.
