Note to everyone, courtesy of an unnamed fellow in Colorado Springs. If you’re going to clean your natural gas fireplace, especially if you’re going to clean it with an aerosol, make sure it isn’t lit first. If it is still lit and you spray aerosol stuff up there, a big fireball just might shoot out of the fireplace and envelop your head.
Better yet, just wipe the thing, don’t use aerosols at all. But come on, who cleans a lit fireplace? I hope this guy doesn’t do it again.
