This has been a bad week for deaths.
Not long before Stompin Tom, I learned of the passing of William Moody, better known to pretty much everybody as Paul Bearer, the Undertaker’s manager in the WWF during the 1990’s. He was just 58, but had been having some health troubles in the last few years, from what I understand.
He was such a unique character. If you were watching WWF back then and didn’t try to do a Paul Bearer impersonation at least once, you weren’t really watching. He was so good at his job that I’ve honestly seen him give the creeps to people who thought wrestling was stupid. Wrestling could use more of that.

Rest in peace, Paul.
