Coughing on people and objects is so much the new thing nowadays that it’s hardly worth posting every instance of it. But this one I’m putting up because it’s particularly dumb.
This doofus, who the Guelph Police Service has not named here, got himself a probation violation for randomly coughing on a couple of people downtown. I hope it was worth it, dude. Should do wonders for the street cred when you have your next “So…what are you in for?” conversation.
The release also fails to mention why he was on probation in the first place, but I’m sure it’s something of which the brain genius organization to which he belongs can be equally proud.
On April 9, 2020 at 1:45 p.m., two adult females were walking near the intersection of Wellington Street West and Dublin Street South in the City of Guelph, when an adult male walked up behind them, coughed on them, laughed and said, “Now you have coronavirus.”
At 2:20 p.m., police located the male and he was subsequently arrested.
A 24-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
• Common nuisance
• Breach of probation
He will appear in court on July 14.
