Facing two charges of attempted murder after setting a tent on fire with two people inside of it is Robert Burn.
The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. at a drainage area near The Oaks shopping mall, Ventura County sheriff’s Sgt. Tim Lohman told KTLA.
The man, identified as 34-year-old Robert Burn, apparently had a disagreement with one of the victims before allegedly throwing a flammable liquid on the tent and setting it on fire.
The victims, both men in their 50s, were able to get out of the tent but suffered injuries, including burns.
It says “including burns” like that’s somehow a surprise. They were set on fire, dude. Of course they have burns. The real story is the other injuries and where they came from.
