Just a quick note, because I don’t want this to wait super super long.
To recap for people who might not know, our neighbour from our old building has a kid that I nicknamed the huppy because in one of my Trixie posts, I called him a human puppy.
Well, on Thursday, Huppy 2.0 was born! It’s a girl, and by the sounds of things, she’s a healthy and happy little baby.
I don’t know when we’ll get to see her, but at least we know she exists. I still don’t know what Huppy 1.0 thinks of this new arrival. Before she was born, I asked him what he thought of this new sister coming, and he paused and said very seriously, “I don’t know.”
When they brought him to the hospital to meet her, his first words were “She’s cute! Can we keep her?” But later on, when he saw them changing her diaper, his comment was “Eeewww! Gross!”
So there it is. Now there are 2 huppies. So sad that Trix won’t meet the new huppy. Tansy has met the old huppy, but because she’s such a wild child, I kept her working gear on so she wouldn’t lose her mind and scare the little guy. I think that will be the way of things for the foreseeable future.
