First we had the mix-up over who Russia is at war with, and now we have something even worse. Can you believe it? Well, I give you a big mistake made by government officials of Birmingham, UK.
They sent out leaflets thanking everyone for doing such a great job in their recycling efforrts. They stamped the words “thank you Birmingham” across a photo of the Birmingham skyline. The problem was the skyline belonged to Birmingham, Alabama. They completely admit the error, and say they picked the wrong photo out of an internet archive.
Ok, I can see one person making that mistake. But I’m sure this booklet had to pass through several hands. You would think one of them would have noticed it before it hit the public.
Even worse, this is the second time the wrong picture has been used.
Yikes.
