Ug. You know what sucks? Even though they got the mink coat back, they may not be able to sell it.
Apparently a sales associate noticed that a $6500 mink coat had gone missing, and also noticed that Stephanie Moreland was acting kinda weird. When she asked her if she had the coat, she said no and took off. The salesperson took down her license plate and she was arrested and held in jail for the weekend. She was searched for weapons, but obviously not too well.
A couple of days later, a detective was asking Moreland some questions about the coat. Moreland then said she had the coat, but had already sold it. When she was told she would be taken to another jail, she lifted up her dress, and pulled the coat out of her underwear! Ug!
I guess Moreland is a bigger woman, so could hide the coat better. She had also modified her underwear.
I wonder how much cleaning that coat will need, or if it can be sold. Ick.
